Exacto Expands

Exacto Spring has begun expansion to their current 90,000 square foot facility in August 2007. “This addition will create more manufacturing space in our expanding grinding department. Our customers have asked us to do more grinding and we answered by buying additional equipment, space, and staff,” claimed company President Greg Heitz.

Exacto will now be over 100,000 square feet and the expected completion date will be in December.

Governor Visits Exacto...

The Governor of Wisconsin, Jim Doyle visited Exacto Spring for a tour and discussion on June 8th. "It was a real pleasure to have such a prominent figure see our plant and learn about the spring industry." claimed Greg Heitz, company President.

Doyle spoke to the 190 employees at Exacto about business in Wisconsin and the support he is giving manufacturing. Doyle also brought along members of his cabinet.

Heitz touched on issues concerning small business in Wisconsin. Exacto received a plaque for its manufacturing practices in the state of Wisconsin.
